Richard Ostella


Born August 25, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, Pastor Ostella has lived most of his life in the Detroit Metropolitan area. After graduating from Melvindale High School, he moved to Springfield, Missouri, where he majored in systematic theology at Baptist Bible College, receiving a Bachelor of Theology and graduating with honors. The following year he completed a Bachelor of Arts at Cedarville College in Ohio. He then spent three semesters at Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana before transferring to Westminster Theological Seminary, where he earned a Bachelor of Divinity in 1972 and a Master of Theology in 1976. In 2000, he received a Doctor of Ministry from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Pastor Ostella currently lives in Dearborn Heights, Michigan with his wife, Patricia. They have three sons: Richard Jr., Jonathan, and Adam; and four grandchildren: Jonah, Caleb, Miles, and Samantha.
